[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="128" caption="Post to renovation"]<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/saskava.van.amboeloe/Heritage#5262112861626488530"><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOQkIU3rxwxsmo-sIaApxRCwE1JzNpa5uhsp8B2XVNbuAx9t0mNvd6vhQ80OvwIeTWMJ9JfkOmPVTQj88aTVkI4urImUKPO6tryCi2WCkV0qX-n0BdDm3Z9NLnFwk_4o85pjjn2yZIOs8/s128/front%20view%20postRenov_1.jpg" alt="Prior to Renovation" width="128" height="96" /></a>[/caption]
First things to do is to upload photos from your own computer to picasa. You need to sign up to picasaweb.google.com, if you are already have gmail account you are one step away. Choose account name in my case above "saskava.van.amboeloe". Upload those photos in an organized manner, assign one album for one blogging theme.
Secondly, use wizard to upload photos from your picasa album to your blog. You may tinker with this particular photo until it looks good to your own taste. Modify the size, border, caption and tagline.
Once you are satisfied with the look, the subsequent photo uploading to your blog is just merely copy paste existing code. Browse in Html, copy and paste the code. Now to tell your blog of the second photo sources, you need to take note ;
- Source code from photo properties at picasaweb (firefox ), click right and copy. Paste it on the first line of url that appear on the above code ("picasa....heritage#..").
- Photo address at picasaweb (firefox ), click right and copy. Paste it on the second line of url that appear on the above code ("lh5....").
Use similar method for your blogger's blog (blogspot), by merely changing :"[caption...blah..blah] ...code...[/caption]" to
I have spent hours to look for a faster way uploading images into my blog, however there is a more simple method. But this is one way to learn Html code yourself, and I could not find any clear instruction offline nor online.
This method helps a lot for those whose internet bandwidth is narrow albeit "slow". Photo resizing is recommended before uploading, do trial and error as to find a suitable resolution. Use batch resizing on acdsee or other similar photo manage application.
